Voore Forby

Voore manor is first recorded in 1569. In the late 1700s it belonged to the Dahls, from whom it passed to the Frey family, and from the 1880s to the zur Mühlens; the last owner before expropriation was Alexander von zur Mühlen. The small one-story stone house was probably first built in the first half of the 1700s or even earlier, and it was altered slightly in the 1700s and 1800s.

Today
The small, archaic Baroque complex survives: several 18th- and 19th-century outbuildings stand symmetrically around the house, and many farm buildings lie nearby, some of them in ruins.
