Saku Sack
Built around 1820 for Paul Eduard von Rehbinder, the main house is one of the finest examples of neoclassicism in Estonia; Carlo Rossi is thought to have designed it. In the unrest of 1905, fire destroyed most of the outbuildings.

Good to know A small brewhouse set up in 1820 is counted as the start of the Saku brewery, which still operates beside the manor. The von Baggehufwudts grew the brewing into a large factory. Saku escaped the 1905 burnings that destroyed nearby Valtu and Järvakandi.
