Kumna
Johan Knopius founded the manor in the 1620s, and the place long carried his name as Knoobus. From 1838 the von Meyendorffs ruled here, and in the 1910s they began a Neoclassical house with a columned portico. It was finished only in the 1920s, after the estate had been expropriated, and the family left for good in 1939.

Good to know In 1862 Georg von Meyendorff put up a bronze Martin Luther statue at the Keila crossroads; in 1949 it was melted down for a Stalin statue. The estate has two main houses side by side, an old wooden one and a new stone one. The new house was completed only after expropriation.
