Hüüru Huer

Hüüru was founded in 1560 at Harku manor’s mill site on the Vääna River, which Order Master Gotthard Kettler granted to the Tallinn merchant Blasius Hochgrave; he fell that same year defending Tallinn. The estate later passed to the Wrangells. The house was built in several parts in the 1700s and 1800s and took on its Historicist exterior in the 1860s.
