Esna Orrisaar
Esna was founded in the 1620s and took its Estonian name from the Essen family, to whom Gustav II Adolf granted the land. From 1792 it belonged to the Grünewaldts, who built a modest single-story Classicist timber house in 1821. In the 1880s a stone wing and a Historicist porch were added at one end. The last manager, Adolph von Grünewaldt, stayed on at the manor after the land reform and was murdered in 1921.
