Vodja Wodja
Vodja was founded in the early 1600s and passed to Hans von Fersen in the middle of that century. Johann Wolmar von Stackelberg had the Classicist stone house with a hip roof built in the last quarter of the 1700s, and wings were added in the 1800s. From 1783 to 1919 the estate belonged to the Toll family. After a fire in 1935 the house gained a second story.

Good to know The finest outbuilding is the cavaliers’ house, a guest wing finished in 1873. Ponds and canals enliven the manor park. In the 1990s the house served as a training center.
