Roela Ruil
Roela was first recorded in 1453. In 1621 the Swedish chancellor Axel Oxenstierna bought it. The estate changed hands several times before passing to the Wrangells, among them Wilhelm von Wrangell, head of the Estonian knighthood in 1881–1884. The old wooden main house dated from the later 1700s. In 1910 a new house in the Heimatstil was built a kilometer and a half away.
