Pahkla Pachel
Over the centuries Pahkla passed from the Lodes and Fersens to the Baranoffs and Taubes. A single-story L-shaped house and the outbuildings lining its forecourt formed a quiet estate far from the main roads. The house burned in 1905, and today the whole ensemble is a field of ruins swallowed by forest.

Good to know The rear wing was added in the second half of the 1800s. The farm buildings stood west of the forecourt and are ruins too. Large trees now grow between the fallen walls.
