Koigi Koik
Until 1564 Koigi was a village of Mäo manor. In 1758 Adam Friedrich von Stackelberg gave part of the Mäo lands to his son-in-law, Johann Adam von Grünewaldt, and the Koigi estate was formed from them. The one-story Early Classicist house was finished in 1771. It has side projections with curved pediments and a columned portico in the center. The Grünewaldts held the estate until 1919.

Good to know In 1836–1846 the manor ran a home school attended by children of many prominent families. The finest outbuilding is a late-1800s dairy with a Neo-Gothic stepped gable. The house keeps its original Classicist front doors.
