Kaelase Kailes

Kaelase was split off from Koonga manor in 1665 and belonged to the Wolffeldts and then the Derfeldens. In 1790 an Early Classical house with an attic floor was completed. A wide two-story central projection with a triangular pediment marked both the front and the back, and quoins accented the corners. From 1872 to 1919 the manor belonged to the Brandts. The house was burned in 1905 and restored around 1910 with lesenes and an Art Nouveau-style balcony.
