Valgu Walck
Valgu was recorded as early as 1284, and from the late 1300s it belonged to the Fahrensbach family, who held it for almost two centuries. It was later divided between the Wrangells and the Lodes. The two-story Classicist house was built in 1820; after a fire in 1905 it was restored, but without its portico.

Good to know In the late 1300s Valgu belonged to Wilhelm Kniprode, the bishop’s bailiff in Läänemaa. In 1591 Johan III granted the estate to Arend Heinrich Fahrensbach. After the 1905 fire the house was rebuilt without its portico.
