Kokora mõis asutati 1734. aastal Alatskivi mõisa maadest. 18. sajandil kuulus see Kircheritele, hiljem Schultzidele ja 19. sajandi lõpust Rathlefidele; viimane omanik oli Martha von Rathlef. 19. sajandi algul ehitati pikk ühekorruseline klassitsistlik puidust peahoone.

Hoone on eraomanduses. Kõrvalhooneid on alles vähe ning needki on ümber ehitatud või lagunemas.

Kokora manor was founded in 1734 on land taken from Alatskivi manor. In the 1700s it belonged to the Kirchers, later to the Schultzes, and from the late 1800s to the Rathlefs; the last owner was Martha von Rathlef. In the early 1800s a long one-story Classical timber house was built. A portico on four round columns graced its center, and triangular pediments topped the windows.

Today Only the right-hand part of the house survives, and the central portico has been moved, slightly altered, to the end of the building. The house is privately owned. Few outbuildings remain, and those are altered or decaying.
