Imastu mõisat on esmamainitud 1447. aastal. Enne 1919. aasta võõrandamist kuulus see naabermõisa Udriku omanikele Rehbinderitele. Peahoone on arhitekt Friedrich Modi projekteeritud väike ühekorruseline neorenessanss-stiilis kivihoone, mis valmis 1882. aastal. Viilkatusega hoone keskosas on kaaraknad. 20. sajandi algul lisati maja paremasse otsa puhta vuugiga punastest tellistest tiib.

Täna Mõisasüdames asus aastakümneid hooldekodu, mis on nüüd kolinud lähedal asuvasse uude hoonesse; peahoone on eraomanduses. Säilinud on hulk kõrvalhooneid, neist esinduslikem on 18. sajandi lõpust pärit üheksa kaaravaga ait peahoone esise väljaku ääres.

Imastu manor is first recorded in 1447. Before the 1919 expropriation it belonged to the Rehbinders, owners of the neighboring Udriku manor. The house is a small one-story Neo-Renaissance stone building designed by the architect Friedrich Modi and completed in 1882. The gable-roofed house has arched windows at its center. In the early 1900s a fair-faced red brick wing was added at its right end.

Today For decades the manor center held a care home, which has since moved into a new building nearby; the house is privately owned. Many outbuildings survive, the grandest being a nine-arched granary from the late 1700s at the edge of the forecourt.
