Saadjärve Sadjerw
Saadjärve manor is first recorded in 1557, when it belonged to the Wrangells. Later the Koskulls held it for a long time, and in 1919 it was expropriated from Paul von Haeckel. The two-story Early Classical house was built around 1800. The outer walls of the ground floor of the hip-roofed house are rusticated.

Good to know The Koskull family cemetery lies a kilometer and a half southeast. The cemetery’s arched gate still stood in the 1960s; today only the boundary wall and remnants of gravestones remain. Its German name was Sadjerw.
