Tabivere Tabbifer

Tabivere, also known locally as Voldi, grew out of two villages that belonged to Camby, a vassal of the Bishop of Dorpat. In 1626 Gustav II Adolf granted it to the town of Tartu. The one-story brick house was probably built under the Münnichs in the early 1800s. In the second quarter of that century a tall portal with four pilasters and a pediment with a segmental window was added at the main door. From 1872 to 1919 the estate belonged to the Kulbach family. After the War of Independence it was given to Colonel Karl Parts.
