Raadi Ratshof
Raadi, seat of the von Liphart family, was one of the most remarkable manors in southern Estonia and famous for its art collection. From 1922 the Estonian National Museum occupied the house. In 1944 it burned after bombing. In 1988 some 7,000 people walked to the ruins carrying Estonian flags.

The main house is a ruin. The park and some outbuildings remain; the new Estonian National Museum building opened next door in 2016.

The long domed house had a Liphart family burial chapel in its left wing. The museum’s collections were evacuated before the house burned in August 1944.
