Pada Paddas
In the Danish Census Book of 1241, Pada was among the largest villages in Virumaa. The main house was designed in 1782 by Jean-Baptiste Vallin de la Mothe, a French architect working in St. Petersburg, and was one of the most luxurious of its kind in Estonia. From 1803 the estate belonged to Count Peter von Manteuffel and his heirs. The house has stood in ruins since 1917.
