Malla
Malla was first recorded in 1443 and in the Middle Ages was a fortified vassal stronghold. The Baroque palace Gustav Horn built in the 1650s was destroyed in the Great Northern War. The estate later belonged to the von Löwenwoldes and the von Tiesenhausens; its Early Classicist house of the 1770s took on a Historicist look in the 1880s, and in 2014 a new owner bought it with bitcoin.
