Käravete Kerrafer

Käravete manor was founded in the early 1600s in Ambla parish and over the centuries belonged to the Baggehufwudts, the Rehbinders and the Wrangells; its last owner was Alexander von Staal. The center of the one-story stone house dates from the mid-1700s. Around 1820 the house was extended at both ends, and a four-column portico was added on the garden side. In the late 1800s a timber Historicist addition was built onto the left end.
