1986. aasta veebruaris laastas maja tulekahju, kuid see taastati endises vormis juba järgmise aasta lõpuks.

Täna Mõisas on kool ja ürituste ruumid; park laskub Kuremaa järveni.

The Wrangels founded the estate in the 1500s, and over the following centuries war, bankruptcy and inheritance passed it from family to family. In 1834 Alexander von Oettingen bought it, and architect Emil Julius Strauss completed a stately Classical house above the lake. Fire gutted the building in February 1986, but it was rebuilt in its original form by the end of the next year.

Today The manor holds a school and event spaces, with a park sloping down to Lake Kuremaa.
