Peahoone esise auringi keskel on tiik.

Kaagjärve manor is first recorded in 1541 and took its German name from its owners at the time, the Kawers. After the Great Northern War it belonged to Golovin and Golitsyn. From 1801 to 1919 Kaagjärve shared its owners with Karula manor, first the Brüggens and later the Grotes. The Neo-Renaissance house dates from the second half of the 1800s. Originally it was one story in the center and two stories at the ends, with a small four-sided tower at its left end. A pond lies at the center of the carriage circle in front of the house.

Today Raised to a full two stories in the 1950s, the house holds a kindergarten and primary school. Many handsome late-19th-century brick buildings survive, such as the steward’s house and an arcaded granary.
