Särevere Serrefer
Särevere was founded in the early 1600s. Hermann von Nierodt bought it in 1627, and it later belonged for over a century to the Uexküll-Güldenbands. From 1811 to 1919 it was owned by the Schillings. The two-story wooden house with a mansard roof has a Neo-Baroque front door and fretwork trim along its eaves and windows. A glass veranda with a winter garden was added in 1860.

Good to know In 1811 Fabian Wilhelm von Schilling bought the estate for 40,000 silver rubles. A home economics school opened in the manor in 1929. Descendants of the Schillings have raised money for a new roof.
