Lokuta manor is first recorded in 1460. Its last owner before the 1919 expropriation was Georg Rausch von Traubenberg. The one-story house, originally of fair-faced brick, was built between 1875 and 1888.
The house survives as altered in the late 1900s: its original fair-faced walls were plastered over, the window frames changed and the right end raised to two stories. It holds the Lokuta kindergarten. Most outbuildings have been altered.

Good to know
The Rausch von Traubenbergs’ polygonal Gothic Revival burial chapel stands in ruins near Kõltsi village, 8 kilometers to the southwest.
The chapel has mistakenly been thought to belong to Kolu manor.
