Good to know The English-style house (c. 1903), probably by Archibald MacPherson, had electricity, central heating and running water from day one. Riga city gardener Georg Kuphaldt designed the park, with ponds, canals and cast-iron bridges. Its avenue along the Paia–Viljandi road runs 4.2 km, one of Estonia’s longest.
