Hellenurme Hellenorm
First mentioned in 1641, the estate belonged to the Wrangells, then the Dückers and Bruiningks, and in the 1800s to the von Middendorffs. The famous naturalist and Siberian explorer Alexander von Middendorff lived here and lies buried beside a Classical chapel in the family cemetery. The main house is surrounded by a lake, a six-sided granary and an old watermill.
