Särevere rajati 17. sajandi algul. 1627. aastal ostis selle Hermann von Nierodt ja hiljem kuulus see üle sajandi Uexküll-Güldenbandidele. 1811. aastast kuni 1919. aastani olid omanikeks Schillingid. Kahekorruselisel mansardkatusega puidust peahoonel on uusbarokne välisuks ning saelõikepitsiga räästad ja aknaümbrised. 1860. aastal lisati klaasveranda koos talveaiaga.

Täna Mõisa haldab Järvamaa Kutsehariduskeskus; majas on õppeklassid, koolimuuseum ja raamatukogu.

Särevere was founded in the early 1600s. Hermann von Nierodt bought it in 1627, and it later belonged for over a century to the Uexküll-Güldenbands. From 1811 to 1919 it was owned by the Schillings. The two-story wooden house with a mansard roof has a Neo-Baroque front door and fretwork trim along its eaves and windows. A glass veranda with a winter garden was added in 1860.

Today Run by the Järva County Vocational Training Center, the house holds classrooms, a school museum and a library.
