Maidla mõis Maidel
Maidla esimesed teated pärinevad 1452. aastast, kui Engelbrecht Lamstorp müüs mõisa Goswin Dönhoffile. 1494. aastast kuni 17. sajandi lõpuni kuulus mõis Taubedele, 18. sajandil Rehbinderitele ja Fersenitele ning 1808. aastast kuni 1919. aastani Maydellidele. Barokne peahoone ehitati arvatavasti 18. sajandi teisel poolel keskaegse kindlustatud elamu vundamentidele, kasutades ära ka vanu võlvkeldreid. 47 meetri pikkuse paekivihoone mõlemas otsas on ruudukujuline flankeeriv torn ning hoone lõuna- ja läänekülge ääristab vallikraavi meenutav paistiik.
Täna Aastatel 1950–2012 asus peahoones Maidla lastekodu. Hoone seisukord on hea.

Maidla Manor Maidel
The earliest record of Maidla dates from 1452, when Engelbrecht Lamstorp sold the manor to Goswin Dönhoff. From 1494 to the late 1600s it belonged to the Taubes, in the 1700s to the Rehbinders and the Fersens, and from 1808 to 1919 to the Maydells. The Baroque main house was probably built in the later 1700s on the foundations of a medieval fortified residence, reusing its old vaulted cellars. The 47-meter limestone building has a square flanking tower at each end, and a millpond like a broad moat borders its south and west sides.
Today From 1950 to 2012 the main house held the Maidla children’s home. The building is in good condition.
