Aruküla kuulus umbes 300 aastat Padise kloostri Raasiku mõisa juurde. 1581. aastal kinkis Rootsi kuningas Johan III maa kapten Johann de la Blanque’ile ja hiljem kuulus see De la Gardiedele ning Torstensonidele. Mõis asutati 1686. aastal samanimelise küla maadele. 1766. aastast kuni 1919. aastani kuulus mõis Baranoffidele. Säilinud pikk ühekorruseline klassitsistlik kivihoone valmis Karl Georg von Baranoffi ajal 1820. aastatel; kelpkatusega hoonet ilmestavad eenduvate külgrisaliitide madalad kolmnurkfrontoonid.

Täna Hoone kuulub Raasiku vallale; seal tegutsevad 1992. aastast Aruküla Vaba Waldorfkool ja huvialakeskus Pääsulind ning mõisa saalis peetakse kultuuriüritusi.

For some 300 years Aruküla belonged to Raasiku manor, an estate of Padise Abbey. In 1581 King John III of Sweden gave the land to Captain Johann de la Blanque, and it later belonged to the De la Gardies and the Torstensons. The manor was founded in 1686 on the lands of the village of the same name. From 1766 to 1919 it belonged to the Baranoffs. The surviving long one-story classical stone house was built under Karl Georg von Baranoff in the 1820s; low triangular pediments on its projecting end bays enliven the hip-roofed building.

Today The building belongs to Raasiku Parish; since 1992 it has housed the Aruküla Free Waldorf School alongside the Pääsulind hobby center, and the manor hall hosts cultural events.
