Uue-Suislepa manor was founded in 1796, when Emperor Paul I split it off from the state-owned Vana-Suislepa manor and granted it to Ernst Mengden. In 1799 it passed to the Krüdeners, who held it until 1919. Around 1810 an Early Classical house with an attic floor was built on the high bank of the Õhne River. A three-window superstructure carries a triangular pediment, and an octagonal belvedere with an open balcony rises from the roof.
After expropriation a school moved into the house, and it still operates there. Several outbuildings survive, the most striking being the windmill a few hundred meters to the northwest.

Good to know
The Viljandi–Pikasilla road once crossed the Õhne River right in the manor center; it now runs a couple of hundred meters to the southwest.
Watercolors by Anna von Krüdener record the manor’s rooms.
