Sikassaare manor was formed in the 1740s from outlying parcels of the Lümanda and Elme estates. It changed hands often, and before expropriation in 1919 it belonged to Martha von Stackelberg. In the early 1800s the manor center was laid out as a small but handsome Classicist ensemble: the house and the granary face each other across the turning circle, whose center is a pond. The house is a long one-story timber building whose low hipped roof is set off by a dentiled eaves cornice.
The house survives in its general form, though some windows have been altered. A few handsome Classicist outbuildings also survive, among them the colonnaded granary opposite the house. In the late 1900s several apartment blocks and industrial buildings were put up right next to the manor center.
