Kõljala Köljall
Kõljala was enfeoffed to the Buxhoevedens as early as the 13th century, and medieval walls hide inside the later house. In the late 1700s the von der Osten-Sackens built a long one-story manor house. When the Buxhoevedens returned in 1840, they raised the center to two stories and added a columned portico crowned with vases.

Good to know Three arched classicist gateways once stood in the park wall; one survives. From 1921 to 1955 the house held a home economics and farming school. Ornamental vases stand along the top of the portico pediment.
