Completed in 1821 under the von Stackelbergs, the main house is one of the most luxurious classicist manor houses in Estonia. For many years it was an orphanage.
Peter Gustav von Stackelberg moved the manor to a new site, creating Uue-Riisipere and its classical house of 1821.
Its six-column portico, white columned hall and coffered domed hall make it a high point of Estonian classicism.
No row of rosettes in the domed hall’s coffered ceiling repeats another.
