Õisu Euseküll
In 1744 Empress Elizabeth gave Õisu to the widow of Admiral Peter von Sivers, and the Sivers family ruled here until 1919. In the 1760s a long Baroque house was built, its formal park running a full kilometer down to Lake Õisu. Two marble statues, Justice and Prudence, stood guard on the steps and now keep watch from inside.

Good to know Õisu is counted among southern Estonia’s purest Baroque ensembles. The steward’s house weather vane is dated 1777. The curved granary and stable have open fronts on wooden posts.
