Luiste was split off from Loodna manor as a separate estate in 1645, but in later centuries it again became a secondary manor of Loodna. The plain one-story house was built after the manor was burned in 1905, probably on the old foundations and modeled on the earlier house.
A small park lies in front of and behind the house. A partly surviving livestock complex around an inner courtyard stands on the right side of the carriage circle.

The present house was built after the 1905 burning, probably on the old foundations.
