Kodasoo Kotzum
Kodasoo manor is first recorded in 1485. In 1749 Adam Johann von Tiesenhausen acquired it, and in 1769 it passed to the Staël von Holsteins, who in the 1770s built a mostly one-story Early Classical house with projecting wings. The corners are rusticated and lesenes divide the walls. At the center, both front and back carry a three-window superstructure with a triangular pediment. From 1857 until 1919 the manor belonged to the Rehbinders.

Good to know The old house from the first half of the 1700s, with a central mantel chimney, survives; it later became the steward’s house. The granary and the stable and carriage house stood opposite the house, and carriages drove between them to reach the front door. Its German name was Kotzum.
