Palivere Pallifer

Palivere was first recorded in 1493. In 1501 it was granted to Bernt Owerlacker, and through his son-in-law it passed to the Buxhoevedens, who held it for more than 150 years. It later belonged to the Bergs and the Pilar von Pilchaus, and finally to Woldemar von Hunnius. The one-story stone house with a taller center section was finished in the early 1800s. In the 1930s it was raised to two full stories for a children’s home.
