Kõue Kau
Kõue, or Kau, was recorded as early as 1319 and is one of the oldest manors in Harju County; a vassal castle once stood here. The house grew in stages from the 1300s to the 1800s and received its present Classical look and porticos in 1817. In 1832 the explorer Otto von Kotzebue bought the estate, and his descendants held it until 1906.
