Holdre Hollershof
Holdre takes its name from Holler, its owner in the 1500s. In 1910 a mansard-roofed Art Nouveau house was finished for Woldemar von Ditmar to a design by Riga architect Otto Wildau, though its planned wooden tower was never built. It later housed a school and a pioneer camp, and now it waits to be rescued.

Good to know Riga architect Otto Wildau designed the house. The planned wooden tower was never built; tall chimneys stand in for it. The house later held a school and a pioneer camp.
